Appearance:
Jesse is a young woman in her late teens/early twenties. She'll never reveal her real age, however. Instead, Jesse claims to be seventeen. She has a fairly trim build, maintained through constant travel and rarely having enough money to afford a good meal.

Jesse's most striking physical feature would be her hair, which is a lovely shade of magenta. It pulls back from her head as only hair can do if one daily uses a full can of industrial hold hairspray. Jesse's hair naturally is thickest near her head, but tapers down to a curl at her waist.

As far as clothing goes, when Jesse isn't in some sort of disguise, she's in her Team Rocket uniform. This consists of a short white skirt and a white top with a red "R" on the front that is slit up the middle to reveal a black, midriff-baring undershirt. She also wears thigh-high black boots and black gloves. No thief wants to leave fingerprints at the scene of the crime, after all.

Personality:
If Jesse's personality could be summed up in one word, that word would be volatile. When she is in a good mood, she can be perfectly cheerful and bubbly. However, should things not go her way, she's very quick to snarl and generally takes her temper out on her teammates. Generally Jesse tends to shout when she's angry or upset, but she has no problem expressing her anger with her fists if the situation warrants it.

Jesse's world tends to center around Jesse, and she sees no reason why everyone else shouldn't see it that way as well. She expects her teammates to cater to her whims, and even bullies them a bit to get her way when necessary.

Surprisingly, loyalty is among Jesse's personality traits. She is loyal to Team Rocket, and will go to any lengths to please Giovanni. She is also loyal to her Pokemon, and wants only the best for them. They, in turn, give her their best efforts as well, even if those efforts are turned towards underhanded schemes. Even her teammates get her loyalty. If one of the team is feeling down, she will do what she can to cheer them back up.

Jesse also has a flair for the dramatic. This comes out the most when there's an opportunity to act or sing, for she's always quick to jump into any sort of performance. Even when she and her teammates reveal themselves in the midst of whatever dastardly deed they're trying to accomplish, they turn their introductions into a performance.

Abilities/Strengths: Jesse is rather good at pummeling things when the mood for physical violence strikes. Fortunately for those around her, she's generally only in such a mood when she's well and truly angry. Seviper found this out when it bit off most of her hair and she beat it into submission and caught it.

Also, Jesse is a pretty fair hand at putting machines together. She and James go through a lot of gadgets on their quest to steal rare and fabulous Pokemon, and not all of those machines come pre-assembled. Meowth tends to be the brains of the group, while Jesse and James are the muscle. Thus machine assembly normally falls to them.

Jesse's greatest skill is most likely as a master of disguise. This is shown in almost every encounter Team Rocket has with Ash. They generally wear a disguise of some sort to pull off whatever they have in mind, and aren't recognized until they choose to reveal themselves. Either that or Ash and his friends aren't the brightest Zapdos in the flock.

Weaknesses: In a place like Econtra where people with unique abilities are the norm, the fact that Jesse is perfectly, normally human could easily be considered a weakness. She has neither magic nor superpowers of any sort to rely upon, and therefore cannot cast any spells to orchestrate things to her liking.

While Jesse can hold her own in a fight, she has a tendency to rely on her Pokemon to battle for her. This is actually a pretty standard attitude in her world. People and Pokemon work together. However, since her Pokemon aren't with her in Econtra, Jesse will be at an almost crippling loss.

Jesse's temper tends to get her into trouble more often than not. She's the sort of person who tends to act first and think later, and this is only exacerbated when she's angry. When Seviper ate Jesse's hair, she pounded the poor creature senseless and would have kept going if Meowth hadn't pointed out that it was a good time to catch the Pokemon.

Having a need to be the center of attention is also one of Jesse's weaknesses. No matter how time sensitive the issue, it gets tabled if a chance for Jesse to appear onstage or in a Pokemon Contest pops up. She craves attention, adoration, and riches - a weakness that stems back to her childhood, which we shall get to shortly.

Notable Possessions: Jesse comes complete with a set of empty pokeballs that used to house her Seviper and Dustox since she is not allowed to have her Pokemon with her.

History:
Team Rocket has been a part of Jesse's life from very early on. Her mother was a Team Rocket agent who disappeared while on a mission to catch the elusive Mew. Jesse was still very young at the time and was placed in a foster home. Life in the foster home wasn't easy, for it was a place that didn't have the funds to raise a child. Sometimes Jesse had to eat snow because there was no money to buy food.

Eventually Jesse left the foster home to strike out on her own. Unfortunately, nothing has ever really panned out for her. One of the early jobs she decided to try was that of a Pokemon nurse. She managed to get enrolled in a Pokemon nursing school, however, what she didn't realize was that it was a school for nurse-type Pokemon. Because this was a school for Pokemon and not humans, she failed and had to leave.

Since nursing school didn't work out, Jesse went on to enroll at Pokemon Tech. This is a school for Pokemon trainers who don't want to collect gym badges to qualify for the Pokemon League. Once a student graduates, they automatically qualify for the League. It was at Pokemon Tech that Jesse met James. Like the nursing school, however, Jesse again failed and had to drop out.

The only school Jesse seemed to be having any success in was the school of hard knocks. It was time to try something different with her life. With James in tow, Jesse joined a biker gang. There she was able to make a name for herself as "Chainer Jess."

Little is known of what happened after Jesse left the biker gang, but at some point she apparently decided to make the leap from petty thuggery to organized crime and join up with Team Rocket. During her training to become part of an offical team in the organization, she develops a rivalry with Cassidy - another Team Rocket member. It's during training where Jesse is eventually reunited with James, and the talking Meowth is added to the mix. Together, the trio manage to become an official team and have been together ever since.

When Jesse's team tried to steal Pokemon from the Veridian City Pokemon Center, they were defeated by Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu. Ever since then, they have followed Ash across the many regions of his world to attempt to steal his Pikachu.

At some point, Jesse manages to acquire a Contest Pass. Starting on their journeys in the Hoenn Region, when the opportunity comes to enter a Pokemon Contest, Jesse is always willing and ready. She always enters in disguise and under an alias. In her most recent travels, she tends to go by Jesselina.
